IBG Legal is a boutique Mexican law firm headquartered in Cancún, Quintana Roo, with an office in Mexico City. It advises international buyers, developers, and institutional investors on real estate transactions, restricted-zone bank trusts (fideicomisos), foreign investment, corporate work, and complex litigation. The working language is Mexican Spanish; the firm also operates in English and French.
The Cancún office opened in 2005, as the Mexican Caribbean became an institutional investment destination. Behind that date is a family line of lawyers in continuous Mexican practice since 1943. IBG Legal is not a lawyer directory and not an online closing platform. Matters are taken after a fit assessment.

What we do and what we do not
The practice is built for high-stakes real estate and corporate work: title due diligence, fideicomiso structures for foreigners in the restricted zone, environmental and registry compliance in Quintana Roo, and patrimonial disputes. The firm does not replace the Mexican notary public, does not process tourist visas, and does not take criminal defense disconnected from an asset or a real-estate conflict.
